Projects facilitating development of all

–

Prime Minister Modi during his recent visit in Goa, inaugurated and laid foundation stone for various multiple development projects worth over 1,330 crores as part of the “Viksit Bharat”, Viksit Goa 2047 program and plans facilitating development of all. Initiatives included the inauguration of:

1. The Permanent campus of National Institute of Technology in Goa: Equipped with various facilities to cater to the needs of students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, the PM dedicated the new campus of the National Institute of Water Sports, which will offer 28 tailor made courses aimed at fostering the development of water sports and water rescue activities.
2. Inauguration of 100 TPD integrated water management facility: He also inaugurated 100 TPD integrated water management facility and laid the foundation stone for a passenger ropeway along with associated tourism activities connecting Panaji to Reis Magos (across the river Mandovi) and foundation stone for 100 MLD water treatment plant in South Goa.
3. Distribution of Appointment Orders: He distributed appointment orders to 1930 new government recruits, and handed over sanctioned letters to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes during a Rozgar Mela.
